Privacy Disclosure and Processing of Personal Data

The policy described herein treats the means with which personal data of visitors to www.signamaris.it is processed.

This policy is in accordance with Art. 13 of the June 30, 2003 Legislative Decree n. 196 (with subsequent modifications to the law) on the protection of the personal data of those that use any and all web services associated with www.signamaris.it.

This disclosure applies only to the website www.signamaris.it and not to other websites eventually consulted by users by hyperlink. 

In accordance with Article 13 of the above-cited law, we communicate the following information regarding the processing of your personal data.

Navigation Data (Log Files)

The information systems and software designated for this website acquire – during routine functions – personal data implicit in the normal protocols for transmission of Internet communications. Collected information is not intended as a means to identify users, but given the nature of its contents, possesses the means to associate users with identifying data, and reveals said data to third parties. IP addresses are included in such category, as well as computer domain names utilized by website visitors, Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) notation, hours of interaction, file dimension obtained in response, numerical code indicating server response, and other parameters relevant to the operating system and computing environment of user. The objectives of data collection are anonymous statistical use, the ensuring of correct function (and thus relevant data is immediately cancelled after successful task function) and possible use to attribute responsibility in case of any eventual crimes causing damage to the website.  

Cookies

No single piece of personal data is purposely collected from the site. Cookies are not used to transfer personal data; said cookies are not utilized continuously, nor are systems capable of tracing users in place. Session cookie (N.B., are not memorized permanently on user’s computer, and disappear upon closure of browser) use is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (composed of numbers generically generated by server) necessary to granting secure and efficient access to the website. Session cookies avoid the use of any potentially-damaging technology, with the aim of preserving the privacy of navigation and identifying information of users. Any use of permanent cookies is strictly limited to statistical site visits and access data only, and the website makes use of routine market products to this end, including permanent cookies, which collect statistical information on unique visitors (individuals) to the site. These cookies, defined as "Unique Visitor Cookies," contain an alphanumeric code that identifies the computer being used, without, however, collecting personal data. Each page of the website then bears a portion of the code, used to collect statistical data on site use (again, without collecting personal data). Eventual deactivation of cookies in personal settings does not influence this interaction.

External controller of data processing is ACI - Automobile Club d'Italia, located in Marsala, 8, Rome, Italy.
